WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER

As we begin to hopefully open back up in Oregon I thought it would be a good time to let you all know of the changes being made at TBP, and there are a lot.

The biggest change to TBP is I have finally done what I have talked about for years, building a studio on our property. A place for me to edit and design and eventually do some indoor work. This allows me the freedom from paying rent and this savings I can pass on to all my portrait clients. I am so excited about this change and excited that this will allow me to get back to serving the community/clients the way they deserve to be served. No more adding more and more clients just to pay the rent. Now I can give more time and attention to each client, the way I envisioned TBP to be when I set out on this journey. I will update you all photos and videos of the progress very soon.

Now for changes directly related to COVID-19. Getting back to work doesn’t mean getting back to normal. We still must follow the guidelines for social distancing and gatherings of certain amounts of people. Therefore, shooting may have to be adjusted to accommodate these guidelines. Here are a few of the changes I have made.

  • If it is warranted I will be wearing a mask when shooting

  • I will be using predominantly a longer lens to create a safer distance

  • For the foreseeable future we will be doing consults via phone or virtual meetings

  • Cleaning supplies on shoots - TBP will have hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes on all shoots to wipe down hands and equipment.

  • Hair and Makeup will not be available for a period of time

  • Sick Policy- If you or any member of your family is showing signs of coughing, sneezing, fever, sore throat, runny nose your appointment will be rescheduled, and I will extend the same courtesy to you, If I am experiencing any symptoms I will notify you and reschedule.

In the upcoming posts I will be highlighting the new workflow and product offerings. As well as our push to make the class of 2021 seniors have an amazing experience.
